Over

Well my dears it is done. Finished, ended, completely complete, wrapped up, fin, and over. No more rehearsals, no more dancing, no more makeup, no more hairspray, no more mic checks, no more stomach knots. The show is done. As always it's a little bitter-sweet. This one maybe a little more bitter than sweet. The thing I've dedicated all my time and energy to for the past 7 weeks is come to an end. I'm going to miss those crazy kids, those random jokes, those after dinner shinanigans. I'm not going to miss the makeup, or the strong desire to puke before my numbers. I'm going to miss the family, the belonging, the good times. I'm not going to miss Thursday night's performance, which was total crap FYI. It was a good show. It was a wonderful experience. I learned alot, not just with the singing and the dancing, but about me and what I love, what drives me. There were ups and downs, but more ups than downs. And I am so greatful for the few moments I got each night to do what I love, to live a little bit of a dream, and to walk away feeling like all was right in the world. Well except for Thursday night, but that's another story.
So I am back, with a new hair colour, and excited to get back into the swing of things. I've got a list of To Do's longer than my arm, a pile of sewing and mending, exciting day trips, and scary beginnings (which I will tell you all of as soon as I can) all coming up. So in the meantime let me show you what exactly it is that I have been spending all my time doing.

That dress was way more flattering in person. I promise.

Of this one. This by the way was the end result of the awful purple thing (which I found out was out stage manager's choir dress in the 90's). I'll show you the before later when i can find those pictures. it was bad.

I'm the blue blob in the front. We were trying to catch a bouquet, not do some weird Thriller move.

I'm the one with the red bow in the back. My hair was totally awesome.
