There is exactly 30 minutes of 2011 left, and I have to say I am glad to see it go! This has been a tough year in many ways, and I think that this ended up seeping into my blog posts. But I am full of excitement and hope for this New Year! Time to clean the slate (and memorize an Opera in 5 days), and just be happy. Expect some changes around here! I'm excited to debute them!

This is my last outfit for 2011, and I quite like it! I thrifted this skirt in Corvallis, and had to take it apart to make it fit me. It was a fun refashion (I have another to show you later in the week), and I am thrilled with the result. The skirt itself is a beautiful thick wool (which I wore despite it being 81 today!) and I am fairly sure it's from Guatemala or Mexico. Mine originally was a bit longer and had a waistband with the same print that is at the hem, similar to this, but it was about three sizes too small so I took it up and made a new waistband. Very happy with it!!
