I hope all of you had a lovely weekend!
I was supposed to go to the flea market this week, but, uh, I'm broke. Not even back in school and it's already made me a broke student. It's okay though, because I'm helping costume an Easter musical for a church and the amount of work involved was not originally disclosed, so I've had a ton of things to do. I'm close to being done, so yay!!
This whole outfit is comprised of things that I 'forgot' I owned. Skirt that was in the back of the closet that finally fits again, rummaged crop-top that cost me a dollar and I'm not too sure why I bought but am very glad I did, DIY'd flower crown found amid crafting supplies, The Shoes of Destiny, buried World Market charm bracelet, buried DIY'd necklace... I should probably start organizing my things better... I'm thinking of doing a 30x30 in May or June. I just got too much stuff!
The weather was so nice yesterday, cool but sunny with a light breeze... I had my window opened as I was sewing, and the breeze coming in was just lovely!
Today I'm back to Trial Folders (blah), but I'm going swing dancing tonight, so I'm hoping that's enough to get me through them! Oh how I wish this trial would end!! Haha!

Don't you just love rediscovering forgotten things in your closet? It's kind of like shopping, except better because you don't have to spend any money. Your outfit is so fresh and springy - I love that skirt!

ReplyDeleteIam a VERY long time lurker on your blog and i absolutely adore everything about you i totally get the old soul because im exactly the same give me something old and well loved any day in place of something gross and cheap from a store.only difference is Im the epitome of the crazy cat lady. I just wanted to say that i make a little squealing noise whenever i see that you've updated but i love everything you wear.
