I had a 9 hour day today. I really want to make a skirt and a dress and a blouse. I really want to go to bed early. I really want to somehow miss my piano class tomorrow. But I am not. No instead I am practicing those stupid piano pieces (I really hate playing piano.), learning an opera, translating my pieces, working on the dang rhythm worksheet, and maybe getting started on studying for the quiz I have Monday and midterm I have next Wednesday (for the same class...... Also, why do we already have a midterm? Also, why does this class have two midterms?). Music Majoring is not for the faint of heart. But I've got some Ben & Jerry's, lost of San Pellegrino, and some Chicken Biskits (don't judge) to get me through the night, which I foresee being very long.
Not complaining (except for about the piano thing), just explaining why my posts have been so rather erratic. I am loving it here. So here are some pictures from Monday of around campus. Twilight is a magical time here, and I just love how beautiful it all is. It's like a fairyland. A really stressful fairyland, but a fairlyland nonetheless!
This is the building I live in. It is tolerable.
Changing leaves
The Art/ Sociology Department. Yes. You read that right.
One of my favourite buildings on campus. I have no idea what it is other than it has this cafe with these Calzinis... O.M.Gee. Pesto, pepperoni, mozzarella, and spinach... mmmmmm
By the way I also have a new header that I took this day. I kinda love it. I was trying to go find somewhere to take outfit pics, but I ran into a friend and we stood in the rain talking for like half an hour and by that time it was too dark. So fail.
Benton Hall where all my classes are. It is so beautiful (i'll try to get some inside shots next week) and apparently haunted. Awesome.
You can't really tell here, but the sky was bright pink and so pretty!!
And just cuz I fail at the whole outfit taking thing lately, here's a picture of me rocking my first knitting project. I have stopped caring about my hair because there is just no point anymore.
Your new campus looks lovely! All that rain looks just wonderful. I hope you're settling in well!
