I am here to set the record straight. You see I come from a long line of Witches, and never once have they ever been ugly. All the women in my family have been quite beautiful. In fact every Witch I have ever known has been very beautiful in her own right. So I do not understand why our kind has been so misrepresented as being ugly hags. We aren't hags at all! And we never would use our talents to harm anyone! And that is why I have started The Coalition for the Truth About Witches.
Our mission is to bring the truth about our kind to the masses. First this is something we're born with, a gift and curse we have no control over having. Secondly regardless of whether one is a good witch or a bad witch, we are not ugly! It would be easy to spot us in a crowd if that was the case, but really we just blend in. Only on Hallowe'en do we wear our traditional garb, which again allows us to blend in. And don't you think that if we had any nasty warts, we could just magically remove them (which we can, for a small fee)?
The media, and history has painted our kind as some kind of Monster, whether we're fattening up little children, or tormenting a little girl for stealing our shoes. The truth is we are not this, and we must take a stand. If you have any questions or wish to join me in our fight against in tolerance feel free to email me at WartlessWinnie@Ghoulmail.com
I hope your Hallowe'en was a wonderfully magical one! Mine involved A LOT of glitter! Tomorrow I will post detail shots. I'll take pictures in the daylight and post them tomorrow.
Happy November 1st! Good Luck to everyone doing NaNoWriMo!
